Your Garden Show

Your Garden Show, a new website for gardeners to share, get inspired and document their garden, has recently recognized a Greencorps community garden! The engine 57 Firehouse participated in the GC annual distribution day event and brought the new blooming plants home to their garden.

Videographer Katie captures blissful moments of Greencorps distribution day routine and green job training program trainees assisting community gardeners with the plants. Check out the video and the website here!

Department of Cultural Affairs explores Greencorps Chicago

Chicago Is a Community Garden – FREE

This exhibition will look at urban gardens, vertical farming in the city, and urban chicken keepers through photographs, architectural drawings, and installations. In conjunction with the exhibition, there will be a series of community garden walks throughout the city on the last Saturday of each month.

This exhibit highlights Greencorps garden assistant program through Garvy Schools involvement with the program.
